hello.I collected my 2014 ASX yesterday and called into the supermarket on way home,locked the car and on walking away the alarm went off as I had left my little dog in the car.
Stopped the alarm with the key fob.
Rang dealership at Hessle who talked me through and it stopped it.
Now can't lock car, I've looked at the book but not to confident (being over 70) on how to do anything about it, any suggestions please or should i go back to dealership tomorrow.

Why would you lock an animal in a car? Would you do that to a child. Big fines her for doing this where i live. The heat builds up very quickiy and can cause severe problems including death. I have seen security people at shopping centers breaking windows to remove animals. The breakdown service here treats an animal locked in a car the same way as a child, It gets immediate service,
