Clock sometimes has a mind of it's own was created by dsweeney
Sometimes my clock shows the wrong time. When it's wrong it's about 1 hour and 5 minutes slow.
Then somehow without doing anything it will show the correct time.

I think it might be happening when I change from Radio to CD and then back to Radio but it's not always the case.

Very strange. Anyone else got this issue.
The car is brand new since October 2015. Diesel 1.6

clock sets itself from RDS signal so sounds like it is either faulty or something else is affecting the RDS signal. What country are you in?

I have found out that's when I switch to one particular radio station (Newstalk) the time changes instantly on the clock to be 1 hour and 6 minutes slow. The problem is, even when I then change to another radio station the clock doesn’t reset itself to the correct time. It will eventually but haven’t figured out what action I do to make it changed back.
I’m based in Ireland

not all radio stations implement the time correctly or at all. It normally takes about 1 minute before the clock will correct itself when tuned to a station transmitting the correct code. Radio 2 and I guess all BBC channels are certain to have it correct. Many local or independents may have it configured wrong or don't bother as they are not obliged to transmit the data.

I just removed the radio station (Newstalk) that was causing the clock to change. Never had any problems since.
