So I'm at just 18k miles and fronts need to be replaced, I know a few of you have replaced already,

1, what did you get,
2, did you do all four,
3, if you only did 2 did you put them on front or back?
4, did you get winter tyres all year or whatever?

Maybe we could turn feedback into a sticky note.

Hi Peter, I've not replaced mine yet as only on £10k, but I agree with you about making this a "sticky" thread if possible so it's easy for us all to find as the time comes to change tyres...

I'm with you guys . A sticky on tyres would be useful. The quest for tyres has always been a bit of a holy grail to get performance , value and economy balanced out of one set .

Made it a sticky

I put Yokohama Geolander on the back, going to replace the front soon, 24k and still have lots of tread on the originals but scrubbing off on the edge

The Yokohama seem pretty good

Thanks Stephen, did you put them on the back as the backs wore out first or did the fronts wear first (as mine have) and move existing rears to front and new ones on back (I know you have to always put tyres with largest rolling radius (usually the new ones) on the back on Freelanders or the drivetrain blows up.... as mine did).

No Peter, I got a sidewall thorn puncture on the rear so had to swap a pair out grrrrr, i have just used the "spare" one from the rear on one of the front ones as it had scrubbed off quite badly (tracking i suspect) still got a few thousand on the front before change required then i will put the rears on the front and new ones on the back whilst getting all 4 digitally tracked to make sure no more scrubbing

Then I shall have 4 good all year tyres to play in the mud and pending snow
